Benchmarks
-
Temperature
Starting with the temperature of this build, using the MSI Kombustor we’ve run the FurMark Vulcan Benchmark on 1440p for 10 minutes for the GPU while for our CPU we run the MSI Kombustor Stress Test using all 16 Threads for 10 minutes.
We actually got decent temps for the Ryzen 7 3700x because of our Cryorig C7 CU, while our RX 5700XT also got decent temps. Considering that fact we have a limited breathable space inside the case. I think our temps can still be improved if we remove the filter for the case.
-
Gaming
With a stock AMD RX 5700XT, we’ve tested the games using the Adrenalin 19.9.1 Driver at various graphics settings on 1440p. Testing it first on the two “E-sports Gaming” titles:
We’ve easily managed to get high FPS results.
For the benchmark run of our “Triple A” games,
We didn’t drop below 60 fps and managed to get around 75-130 fps on average.
-
Rendering and Editing
We benchmark this build using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 and we didn’t encounter any lag while scrubbing on a 4K timeline on full resolution.
On the other hand, we’ve rendered our 13 minute 4K Raw Footage to Downscaled 1080p Sequence using Adobe Media Encoder.
For our render test we actually got a decent time rendering our 13 minute sequence.
-
Synthetic Benchmarks
We also run our build into different synthetic benchmarks such as Cinebench R20 and 3D Mark: Time Spy Benchmark.
-
Storage Benchmark
Using Crystal Disk Mark with 5 Passes of 1GB File, we’ve got decent speeds for our sequential and 4K read/write for a 2.5 inch SATA SSD.
