Finally, the time for nostalgia is over as the Resident Evil saga continues to the new Resident Evil 8. After the success of Resident Evil 2 & 3 remakes, the new RE game might be announced on the new PS5 console reveal.
Recently, a German retailer site called “GamesOnly.at” accidentally leaked the upcoming Resident Evil game on their store. Last Jun 7, 2020, Twitter user @KenKyro saw this listing and immediately shared it with the fans. (Link landing page already deleted).

They describe the game as the “darkest and cruelest addition to the franchise”.

Evidently, this shows the alleged title for the new game “Resident Evil: Village”, using the letters “V i l l” as the roman numeral of 8 or VII. Meanwhile, some of the leaks have speculated that the new RE gaming will be focusing more on outdoor locations such as a castle, caves, and forests just like the previous RE:4 which everyone loved.
Additionally, Capcom announced to release new major titled games (might include the new Resident Evil) on April 202 which was included in their 2019 Fiscal Report, which you can check out here.
