Innovation Tech Flash – Computex 2021 Special

Feature #1: Kingston

Kingston’s latest product lineup is also showcased at COMPUTEX 2021 Virtual, with the brand’s newest entry-level consumer NVMe SSD at the front row. The NV1 NVMe PCIe SSD has been shipped under high demand from users all over the world, particularly with those looking for a flash-based backup storage with the M.2 2280 form factor and access speeds of 2.1GB/s reads and 1.7GB/s writes. It’s design makes NV1 ideal for thin notebooks and systems with limited space as well.

On the other hand, they also introduced the KC2500 PCIe NVMe SSD. An SSD that’s able to provide even more performance by using 96 layers of 3D TLC NAND flash governed by a Silicon Motion controller for a best-in-class 3.5GB/s reads and 2.9GB/s writes access speed under the PCIe Gen3x4 protocol.

The Kingston NV1 PCIe NVMe SSD pricing starts from ₱3,112 (500GB) and the Kingston KC2500 PCIe NVMe SSD pricing starts from ₱2,880 (250GB). Both products from Kingston excels at improving workflow in workstations, media servers, and high-performance computing environments.

COMPUTEX 2021 Virtual - Kingston Workflow Station

Sticking to the topic of workstations, Kingston introduced the Workflow Station and modular readers which supports input from SD cards and USB sticks for those looking to bring in large files in the field. Priced at ₱4,662 (Dock) and ₱1,214 (SD / microSD Reader), this is a brilliant solution for PCs and Macs with few ports. With four reader modules fitted, it can deliver up to eight ports. The readers are fully modular and can be easily removed too! This enables content creators to carry the Station dock and the required readers to any remote location and begin working right away.
