Lexar, a leading storage solution manufacturer, also appeared in virtual formats at COMPUTEX 2021. Lexar specializes in producing storage memory that is used not only by computers but also by cameras, video recorders, and other devices. Let’s see what this year has in store for them.

Lexar released a CFexpress Type-B Gold Series type memory called Lexar Professional, intended for high-resolution raw-format camera and video recording needs up to 8K with claimed speeds of 1.75GB/s at read speed and 1.00GB/s at write speed. This product also comes in Silver that provides an affordable version with equally good performance quality especially for semi-professional and casual needs. The Silver Series version comes with 1.00GB/s read speed and 600MB/s write. Both are available with capacity options up to 256GB.

Another nifty product is Lexar’s Professional CFexpress USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Reader that utilizes the latest and fastest USB protocol. With speeds of up to 1.70GB/s and offloading up to 8K videos, this USB Reader will be sure to increase productivity and because of its small size, users will be able to transport them in backpacks and storage boxes without any problem. Lexar also offers a pretty neat solution to transferring less demanding data which is the new JumpDrive P30 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive. This matches the top speed of conventional SATA-based SSDs with 450MB/s read and write speeds while securely storing your files with 256-bit AES encryption algorithm.

The NM620 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD returns to the spotlight for computer-based storage devices with the addition of a new 2TB model. To summarize, it is a PCIe 3.0 drive with read and write speeds of 3.30GB/s and 2.85GB/s, as well as LDPC (Low Density Parity Check). For most casual use cases, this is pretty standard. The newly announced Professional NM800 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD, on the other hand, ups the storage game by utilizing PCIe 4.0 to achieve a maximum speed of 7400MB/s reads and 5800MB/s writes.
