The Palit GeForce RTX 3050 DUAL 8GB is built with the new NVIDIA Ampere architecture. It offers dedicated 2nd gen RT Cores and 3rd gen Tensor Cores, new streaming multiprocessors, and high-speed G6 memory to tackle the latest games.
For our review, we’re going to take a look at this new Palit video card and its performance both on RTX and non-RTX games.

Unboxing
Upon opening the box, the first thing you’ll see is the User’s Manual. Right below the foam cover is our GPU inside the anti-static bag. On the front of the card, you can see the two (2) 90mm fans shrouded with a linear design cover.
Flipping it to its side you can see the GeForce RTX Branding and the mandatory 8-Pin power connector.
At the back of the card, there’s a brush aluminum design plastic backplate with the GeForce RTX branding on the side and a honeycomb exhaust design on the other side.
For the I/O, we have 3x Display Ports and 1x HDMI Port.
Benchmarks
For our benchmarks, we’re going to compare the Palit GeForce RTX 3050 to the GeForce RTX 2060 Super and GeForce GTX 1650 Super. Here’s the test bench we’ve used for this benchmark.

Temperature: Starting with the temperature of this video card, using the MSI Kombustor 4, we’ve run the FurMark Vulcan Stress Test for 10 minutes, and here are the results.
Synthetic Benchmark:Â For this benchmark, we used two applications, 3DMark and Opendata Blender.
Using the TimeSpy and PortRoyale benchmark in 3DMark, we got the following results.
Meanwhile, here are the results we’ve got for the Opendata Blender benchmark using the Monster, Junkshop, and Classroom scenes.
Gaming Benchmarks:Â Our gaming benchmarks consist of five different titles and three of those are RTX-supported games. We picked these games to test the Palit GeForce RTX 3050 Dual performance on both RTX and Non-RTX games on 1080p resolution.

Conclusion
Looking at the benchmark results, the Palit GeForce RTX 3050 Dual is a decent video card for gaming both on RTX and non-RTX titles. The results of our benchmarks indicate that this card can run above 60FPS on some modern triple-A games and 240FPS on Esport titles. Not only that, it performed decently on 3D rendering tasks, making it a viable option for starting content creators out there that wants to dive into 3D and video editing. The only thing you should consider when buying this card is your budget since the card can only be beneficial in a certain use-case scenario and may not be for some gamers.
