Benchmarks
CrystalDiskMark 7.00: Using this application as a benchmark tool, we got 3.5 GB/s in read speeds and 2.5 GB/s in write speeds. These results are exactly similar to the advertised read and write speeds of the Kingston KC2500 which is great.
Copy/Transfer Test: Moving along with our standard 1.77GB test containing various file types such as videos, exe-files, pictures, etc., we copied these files to the KC2500 from an HDD and the SSD to itself. Hitting a max copy speed of 300 – 380 Mb/s.
Temperature: Using HWInfo64, we’ve monitored the temperature of the Kingston KC2500 SSD. We got a chill 50c on max, making this the coolest SSD we’ve tested.
Conclusion
Moving to our final thoughts for the Kingston KC2500 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD, if you are looking for a mid-tier performance M.2 NVMe SSD that’s on par within its price bracket (Samsung 970 Evo Plus), then I would recommend this drive to you. Priced around PHP 7,000, this SSD is a great must have if you are prioritizing both speed and security.
