Elijah Wood is ALSO a Stalk Trader in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Sow Joan’s Stalk Market or Turnip stocks have dominated the discussion around Animal Crossing: New Horizons for weeks since launch. Apparently, many of us keeps a close eye on favorable turnip prices, including Elijah Wood.

Twitter user Jessa (aka @directedbyrian) shared her island’s turnip prices on her timeline — a whopping 599 bells a piece (for those who don’t play, that’s a huge profit). After which she received a DM from none other than Elijah Wood  — the actor known for his role as Frodo in the Lord of the Rings films — requesting for her Dodo Code so he could stop by.
“I tweeted my turnip prices and elijah wood just came to my island and hung out,” Jessa said in a tweet, adding that this was the “best day in quarantine yet.”

Wood playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons teaches us all a lesson in proper island visiting etiquette. So polite, he asks “May I pick some fruit” instead of rudely shaking all of Jessa’s trees, and makes sure to compliment the island by saying, “Your island is beautiful.”

Screenshots from the game shared by another Twitter user showed Wood leaving the island after voicing out his support for director Rian Johnson.

Hopefully we learned a thing or two on Wood’s etiquette when visiting another player’s island. And if you ever wanted to be visited by a former Hobbit turned horror producer, wish on every shooting star and pray that Nooklings will provide you with a favorable a turnip price next time. Then tweet away and hope for the best!
